Let's embrace spirit of the Tavern Association
By Bruce Enott, MTA President
As my tenure as your president draws to a close in September at the convention in Red Lodge, I want to thank you for the tremendous experience. Let's take charge of renewing our spirit in the Montana Tavern Association and come together as a group.
Changes and issues at times tend to split us, but never forget we are invincible as a group. United we stand, divided we fall. We are all in it for the same reasons, even though we don't always agree on every issue.
The Legislature was informative and interesting to watch and the outcome was favorable. The debate over video line games was spirited, but in my opinion we needed to do something to try to improve our gaming revenues.
The Carbon-Stillwater Tavern Association will host the 56th annual MTA Convention and Trade Show September 12-15 at Rock Creek Resort and Roosevelt Gym in Red Lodge.
Everything is taking shape and looks like fun, so make a difference by attending the convention and participating in the discussions and decisions to be made. You must be a current MTA member to vote.
Though my term is up, I don't anticipate going anywhere. I look forward to continuing my association with the Montana Tavern Association.
