Grand Vision focused on new games

In a continuing effort to enhance and diversify its offerings, Grand Vision Gaming recently invited gaming operators and players to review four new games and several improvements to existing ones that the manufacturer is developing.
GVG is developing the new software for its UltraVision machine.

GVG pays great attention to market research and has held these “sneak preview” focus groups before. This one was held Feb. 4 at the Billings Holiday Inn. Well over 100 players and operators dropped in over the day-long event. The purpose of the focus group was to get honest feedback from actual customers to games that remain in the development stage.
Invitations were given to locations that currently own Grand Vision Gaming machines, who in-turn gave them to their best customers. GVG staff members were on hand to teach them to navigate through the different aspects of the new games. GVG was thrilled with the turnout.
“This is our fourth focus group,” said GVG co-owner Merle Frank. “It's a great research tool we rely on to ensure we're offering players what they want.”
Tim Carson, another co-owner, said GVG is constantly working to develop “a diversity of games that appeal to our player base.”
He said the gaming environment is so difficult right now that “we don't have room to err anymore.”
Participants were provided questionnaires and asked to fill them out while playing the games. They were asked to rank the games and encouraged to provide comment and suggestions for the games.
Frank said GVG is committed to adjusting the games in response to the questionnaires.
“We read them all,” he said.
After the questionnaires are compiled and reviewed, Frank said, the manufacturer's development team will begin immediately to adjust the games.
The four new games are Coconut Keno, Keno Squared, New Triple Ball Deluxe and Full House Magic Poker. In addition, enhancements to existing games, such as the popular Plenty of Penguins keno, include new sound effects and vibrant new game screens.
Grand Vision Gaming hopes to have the UltraVision software tweaked, approved and ready for release by spring.
