Fleetwood opens house for customers

Fleetwood Gaming's annual Customer Appreciation Open House has developed into a popular event over the years – so popular in fact that you don't want to be late or you risk missing out on some great chow.
Though the steaks, hamburgers and hotdogs were gone by the time the Montana Tavern Times showed up, the Fleetwood crew's warm hospitality was in abundant supply during the event April 13.
Jim Shires, Fleetwood's operations manager, said his company received some great feedback during the Open House on its new games, including the Mystic Phoenix game. In addition, event participants were able to test drive the manufacturer's newest game, Frantic Fruit, which is due out any time.
While Fleetwood has been busy developing a steady stream of innovative poker and keno games, the Billings manufacturer is going to be “dedicated to the development of line games” for now, Shires said.
“We're excited about what it will do for the industry,” Shires said of the line games, which were approved by the Montana Legislature this year. “We think it's going to stimulate activity.”
    “It's been a difficult last 18 months.”
Shires said the company plans several games for each of its two cabinets – Brilliant Bet and Casino King.
