Now that Century Gaming has settled in to its new location in Great Falls, the gaming machine vendor decided it was time to throw a party to show off its new digs.
And to add some excitement to the Open House Aug. 19, Century invited several gaming manufacturers to show off their latest machines and games, including “sneak peaks” at some new line games that are set to launch in January 2012.
The new location, at 601 River Drive South, offers some benefits over the previous location, most notably a nice big show room, said Travis Waltermann, manager of Century's Great Falls office.
“We're able to display machines and chairs as they would look on a casino floor,” he said of the new show room.
The new office also boasts a high-tech conference room that is perfect to show off  Century's player rewards system, called i-Rewards, he said.
The customers who attended seemed to enjoy it all, including the delicious barbecue.
“This is definitely a fun event,” he said, noting that line games have generated a lot of curiosity.
“We're excited about the new line games,” he said. “People like to be entertained.  That's where it's at.”
The manufacturers, he said, have done a great job initially to create “some great games.”
Waltermann said that he hoped the Open House would also “spark interest” in the Montana Tavern Association convention in September among area operators.
The manufacturers who took part in the Open House included U-1, Fleetwood, Spielo, Summit, Grand Vision, and IGT.
Several Century managers from across the state also attended.
