Council moves to back proposed bingo changes
Pub Date: 5/1/2008
After a short break, Mark Ehli, owner of Big B Bingo in Billings, presented the Council with the results of a peer survey he conducted regarding revisions to the bingo statute that would allow more diverse bingo card designs.
Ehli said he surveyed by letter 50 bingo licensees and three responded. He did note in his survey that he would consider a "no response" to be support for his proposed revisions, he told the council, and provided them copies of his letter and samples of his proposed card designs.
Two of the responses expressed support and one was indifferent, Ehli said.

Tooke said the game of bingo was languishing and "needs to be energized," and Huntington said the division has no problem with the proposal, but would need to approve the new cards.
The council voted to endorse the proposal.
