It was a first for Fleetwood Gaming, exhibiting the top of their line of video gaming machines at Sysco of Montana s Spring Food Show. And, according to Fleetwood spokesperson Art LaGaly, the gamble yielded a stellar payout.
Convenience, if nothing else, was the key to this year's success. The Fleetwood Brain Trust presided over by LaGaly and Fleetwood Vice-President Thom Propp reasoned that with the short time tavern owners have to spend while in Billings, many wanted to get the full benefit of the Sysco spring food show and clearly didn t have the time or desire to travel across town to see the newest in video gaming.
The Fleetwood crew had to do an abrupt turnaround as the firm sold the bulk of their vending routes and are now able to sell their popular video gaming machines to any qualified party. That leaves them with some real potential knowing the popularity of their Casino King line. In addition, reports are that the newly designed Brilliant Bet line received rave reviews.
The crowd visiting their display was especially enthusiastic over the new Casino King games, "Funland" and "La Cucaracha" in particular.
Throughout the show Fleetwood sales personnel urged prospective buyers not to hesitate if they were serious as the two lines have a limited number of machines available for immediate sale.
The Fleetwood staff was also able to prime the visitors' interest in their upcoming introduction of the Player Entertainment System (IVAN 21) which has been under development for some time.
According to LaGaly the people I talked to regarding this new system are champing at the bit for a new promotional system. He guaranteed customers will be amazed at the system from both a player and location operator standpoint.
Deemed one of the show-stoppers of the Fleetwood display was the eight-foot by 10-foot message center courtesy of Brilliant Products that alternately flashed screen shots of the firm's newest games, and Welcome to the 2008 Sysco Spring Food Show.
Both Propp and LaGaly said they felt this year's display was great and they were able to showcase their new contemporary promotional show prior to introducing it at the 2008 Montana Tavern Association Trade Show to be held in Great Falls in September.
According to LaGaly the Sysco Show seems to grow bigger and better with every year and Fleetwood was proud to be a part of this year's excitement.
